conference:
6Sight and Mobile Imaging
Summit 2006
JACKSON,
Mich. – Photo Marketing
Association International®
(PMA®) announces
it is co-hosting the
upcoming Future Image
conference entitled 6Sight™
and
Mobile Imaging SummitSM
2006
to be held in Monterey,
Calif., October 24-25, 2006.
The target audience for this
cutting-edge event includes
senior executives (CEOs,
CTOs, CMOs, VPs, directors,
etc.) from companies
involved in the market for
digital imaging products:
vendors, retailers, and
large users; as well as
media representatives.
The event will focus on
one of the most significant
developments of our time:
Imaging has started to
profoundly change people’s
lives in the personal, work,
and community spaces. This
is a global phenomenon that
accelerates with further
technological development.
The conference program will
investigate this phenomenon
through a unique mix of case
studies and testimonials,
hot new technology
demonstrations, and diverse
perspectives.
The case studies and
testimonials will highlight
how early adopters are using
imaging to transform their
lives for the better. The
new technology
demonstrations will bring to
light the latest developing
innovations that will create
new opportunities and
potential in imaging. The
diverse perspectives will
feature sociologists,
educators, psychologists,
academics, artists and
others presenting their
views on how imaging is
being used and changing
lives.
PMA
has a history working with
Future Image to help its
member companies plan for
the future of imaging. The
inaugural DIMA Conference in
1995 was chaired by Alexis
Gerard, who also developed
the program and content, and
PMA has been an Association
Sponsor of Future Image’s
Mobile Imaging Summit since
its inception.
“Right from the start, PMA
management understood and
supported what we wanted to
do with 6Sight – create a
future-oriented event that
is much more than an
industry conference,” says
Gerard, president and
founder of Future Image. “We
share a core belief in the
fundamental importance and
value of imaging, and in the
fact that this industry has
a great economic future. By
working together, we combine
PMA’s unrivaled breadth and
depth in the imaging
industry, with Future
Image’s effectiveness at
anticipating the next waves
in imaging technology and
user behavior.”
“This is just the most
recent example of the
long-term working
relationship PMA has with
Alexis Gerard and Future
Image,” says Ted Fox, PMA
executive director. “We have
worked with Future Image for
more than a decade and we
look forward to exploring
the opportunities for our
industry in mobile imaging.
PMA continues to work
closely with the industry
leaders in the mobile
imaging field to help
simplify the process of
capturing and printing
images from mobile devices.”
Information on the program,
speakers, registration and
opportunities for media and
analysts can be found at
