Future Image Announces 6SightTM - a New and Unique Conference Series
Focused on the Imaging Revolution

SAN MATEO, Calif. – March 15, 2006 -- Future Image Inc, host of the Mobile Imaging Summit executive conferences, and co-host International Imaging Industry Association (I3A) announced today the launch this fall of its new conference series, to be named 6SightTM.  6Sight will focus on the explosive global spread of imaging technology, and its potential for exciting new opportunities to improve people’s lives in the personal, work, and community spheres.  The annual event will bring together technologists, marketers, futurists, artists, educators, customers and members of the media for a program emphasizing innovative use cases, breakthrough technologies, and creativity.  The inaugural 6Sight conference will be held on October 25, 2006 in Monterey, Calif. in conjunction with the 6th edition of the Mobile Imaging Summit conference, which will take place on October 24.

“In just the past four years the number of cameras in people’s hands worldwide has multiplied by 600 percent.  It will double again over the next five years, and the majority will be wirelessly connected to the Internet,” said Alexis Gerard, founder of Future Image and co-author of “Going Visual.” “Pervasive, connected imaging is democratizing the power of visual communication on a global scale.  We are in the middle of a profound transformation in how we record our world and how we communicate about it with each other. This change will affect not only our personal lives, but how we work and how we function as members of social and political communities.  6Sight is about bringing together the innovators who are driving this revolution across the spectrum, to share experiences, learning and contacts.”

“We are proud to have been at the forefront of identifying and stimulating the growth of Mobile Imaging by bringing together leaders of the imaging, information processing and telecommunications industries at our Mobile Imaging Summit conferences,” said Joe Byrd, vice president of conferences and alliances at Future Image.  “With 6Sight we are expanding the value proposition by creating a venue where attendees can be entertained and stimulated, see innovative new technologies, interact with leading-edge thinkers, and meet with industry colleagues, volume users and media.”

”The imaging industry is at the cusp of a dramatic shift in the way we work, live and communicate with one another,” said Lisa Walker, president of co-host I3A.  “We are thrilled to be leading the charge of this life-changing transformation, together with Future Image, to bring together not only the industry leaders building the foundation of this new era, but now the businesses and users of the visual technology that is dramatically changing the way we all see the world.”

What Attendees Say:

WOW, what a great conference!! Excellent content, excellent speakers, excellent facilities and excellent food. And did I mention I made some super contacts too.

Brent Bowyer, President, Independent Photo Imagers

You have managed to assemble a very high calibre set of attendees and we had ample time to network, which was fantastic.

Simon East, CEO, ShoZu

I came here to learn about the market and to evaluate the opportunity for Bellamax. The Summit exceeded my expectations.

Val Carpenter, CMO, Bellamax

We found the show to be informative and insightful in terms of content and extremely valuable in terms of connections and networking opportunities. Our only regret was that we were not able to attend the sessions on Friday and to continue meeting with other attendees.

Kris Ramanathan, Co-CEO, netomat, Inc.

Congrats to you and your team for providing a really awesome event. Your planning, gracious accommodations and flawless execution was appreciated! In addition we achieved all the goals (and then some) that we set out from Sprint's perspective. Thank you for making the venue intimate and allow us real time to discuss and network as we needed.

Mary-Nick Baustert, Sprint

The Summit provided a comfortable environment in which to network with leaders in the industry, and an open atmosphere to exchange information.

Larry Lesley, Sr. VP, Consumer Imaging & Printing, Hewlett-Packard

Thank you for a very good show on all aspects. I met with very high quality and very relevant people, and you've managed to keep a casual and productive spirit among everybody, which is invaluable. Please count us in for the next edition.

Benoit Bergeret CEO, RealEyes3D
